The Annapurna Region in Nepal is well known as the world’s best trekking route. It is one of the most popular trekking routes in Nepal. It takes three weeks minimum to surround the Annapurna Mastiff. After arriving at Pokhara, we can trek to different routes in the Annapurna Regions.
Annapurna Region is famous for Manaslu, Langtang Himal mountain views, Annapurna II and IV, Annapurna III, Annapurna I, and Dhaulagiri. It is also well known for the Kali Gandaki gorge, the deepest gorge in the world.
This region can also be divided into Upper Mustang and Lower Mustang regions.
Langtang Region is an area that is still unknown to the majority of trekkers. Less known than other trekking regions, this has a relatively shorter trek. But, this region is the closest you can get to viewing snow-capped mountains from Kathmandu. Langtang region is famous for rhododendron and bamboo forests, beautiful waterfalls, and stunning snow-capped mountains.
This valley is famous for its tours and trek to the Buddhist culture of the Tamangs and the Sherpas, the ancient monastery of Kyanjin Gompa, Langtang National Park, Himalayan pheasants, Himalayan deer, Himalayan bears, monkeys, red panda, yak pastures and local cheese factories.
The eastern Himalayan region in Nepal is famous for its great diversity in land altitude. It is also renowned for Trekking, Expedition, Bungee jumping, Rafting, Chiya Bagan safari (Tea garden), etc. It is also well-known for its bungee and rafting in Bhote Koshi River. This region is famous for peaks like Mahalangur, Kumbakarana, Lumba, samba, etc. This small area has different vegetation types like tundra vegetables, coniferous forests, deciduous monsoon forests, and sub-tropical evergreen woods.
The Far Western Region in Nepal was once a part of the kingdoms of the Khasa Mallas in the 14 Century. They still hold sculptured temples, stone pillars, and carvings of those times. This region is less trekked by westerners, and the flow of water and elevation drop are much faster and steeper than the Trishuli River.
