Bhutan Tour 3 nights 4 days  take you to visit the small kingdom in the South Asia-The Kingdom of Bhutan. Bhutan was one of the few nations that only allowed the visit to foreign nationalities in 1974.You can travel to Bhutan by plane. Though it has no railways, it is planning a cross-national railways with India.

While the 3 nights 4 days tour may not allow us to visit all tourist hotspots in Bhutan, we will be visiting some of the best. On this tour, we will visit Memorial Chorten, Zilukha Nunnery, Takin Sanctuary, Indigenous Hospital, Textile Museum etc in Thimpu, the capital city of Bhutan.

We will also visit Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang) and Farm House, National Museum etc in Paro.

 

A short introduction to Bhutan

Bhutan is a small kingdom in South Asia which lies between India and China. It is also known as The Kingdom of Bhutan or “Land of the Thunder Dragon”. Bhutan is a nation of constitutional monarchy and followers of Vajrayana Buddhism

Due to Bhutan’s late opening to the world most of its traditional culture, rites and rituals are well preserved. The first appearance of Bhutan on the western map where Bhutan was known as “Broukpa”. Later, it was also known as Lho Mon (“Dark Southland”), Lho Tsendenjong (“Southland of the Cypress”), Lhomen Khazhi (“Southland of the Four Approaches”) and Lho Menjong (“Southland of the Herbs”).

There are many tourist spots in Bhutan. With centuries-old monasteries and sanctuaries, preserved environments and traditional ethnic culture and traditions, it is a popular spot for cultural, food and nature enthusiasts.

Itinerary


  • Today is first day of your 3 night four days tour to Bhutan, you will be arriving in Paro. Firstly, Nepal View Tours will submit and completely clear customs and immigration for all the days you will travel to Bhutan.

    You will meet your guide who will accommodate all your needs in Bhutan. After that, we will drive to the capital of The Kingdom of Bhutan, Thimphu. We will drop you off at your hotel. Then, we will have a small sightseeing tour around the famous spots near your hotel.

    We will be staying in the Hotel in Thimpu overnight and have dinner.

  • Today, After breakfast, we will go to visit major tourist destination in Thimpu. Among most tourist destinations, we will travel to Memorial Chorten, Zilukha Nunnery, Takin Sanctuary, Tashicho Dzong, and Zangdopelri temple. Among non-religious buildings and tourist spots, we will visit, Indigenous Hospital, Textile Museum, Heritage Museum, Traditional School of arts & crafts and paper factory. 

    We will also have a short lunch with local cuisine in between the tourist spots. After sightseeing, we will return to the hotel, have dinner and stay overnight.

     In addition, you can prepare for the next day.

  • After breakfast, we will travel from Thimpu to Paro. We will  go in a private vehicle. When we arrive in Paro, we will be taking our lunch in a local restaurant. Then, sightseeing at Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang), Farm House and the National Museum. After that, we will visit the local market in Paro. 

    Today, we will have dinner and stay overnight in the hotel of Paro.

  • Today is your last day in Bhutan. After breakfast, we will follow the same road we took while entering Bhutan. Nepal View Tours will complete all required material for your Departure. Then, we will take a flight and return to our next destination.
