Arrival in kathmandu, transfer to hotel
Today you will be arriving in Kathmandu through the airport. If you are unfamiliar with the surroundings, we can arrange a pickup and drop-off at the hotel. We may also discuss further the ongoing trip.
Sightseeing tour
Today, you will go for kathmandu sightseeing tour,where you will visit historical, religious, and cultural places of kathamdu valley.The places are swoyambhunatth, Patan Durbar square,Pashupatinath, Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Sqaure,and many more.
Swoyambhunath is a Buddhist shrine located on the top of a hill in Kathmandu. It is one of the major Buddhist religious places in the Kathmandu Valley. We will also like you to take protection from the monkeys at Swoyambhunath. Along with a buddhist shrine, Swoyambhunath is believed to be the for of Hindu god Vishnu and also worshipped as a temple of Harati Goddess by the Newars.
Patan is the location of Patan Durbar Square, the royal palace of the old Malla Kings. Patan Durbar Square used to be the royal court and residence. Therefore many temples and shrines have been built on the durbar square. The durbar square also has the residence of the living goddess Kumari. The Patan Durbar Square also includes many temples, statues and shrines related to hinduism, buddism and trantic mixture.
Pashupatinath is the temple of Hinduism, Shiva. You may also see the evening aarti at night and shrines of many other gods in Pashupatinath. Hinduism is famous for more than 30 thousand gods and goddesses. Pashupatinath Temple is also a place where many nations’ major festival Shivaratri is celebrated. Along with Lord Pashupatinath, there are also the shrines of many major gods and godesses in this Temple. Pashupatinath is one of the oldes temple and a famous UNESCO world heritage sites in Nepal.
Drive to Pokhara
We will drive to Pokhara in the morning. Pokhara is the most famous city after Kathmandu. Pokhara is also one of the most beautiful cities in Nepal. We may also visit the beautiful Pokhara lakeside with a picturesque lake view. It is also a famous home base for most of the trekkers and mountaineers aiming for the Annapurna Mountain Ranges and Annapurna Circuit.
The day after, we will continue our sightseeing in Pokhara. Pokhara is also known for its beautiful scenery that gives a full view of the Annapurna Mountain Range.
Pokhara Sightseeing with Sarangkot sunrise
In the early morning at dawn, we will wake up to climb the Sarangkot hill. We will be welcomed to a beautiful sunrise view in Sarangkot. Sarangkot is well known for its beautiful view of sunrise and sunset. The Sarangtop hill is also famous for the views of Mt Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu and the Pokhara Valley. It is also famou for paragliding.
After that, we will be sightseeing in Pokhara. Pokhara is famous for its Davis Falls, Chamera Gufa, Phewa Lake boating, Barahi Temple, and many more. Pokhara is also well known for being the main cities of Gorkahlies as many Nepali’s on Pokhara have been a member of Indian and British Gorkha Army.
