On the same day, visit Changu Narayan Temple. This temple is one of the oldest temples where he worshiped Lord Vishnu sacredly. Another beautiful sacred temple on this tour is Manakamana in the Gorkha district. People believed that Goddess Bhagwati grants the wishes of all pilgrims who worship at this temple.

An exciting place on this pilgrimage to Nepal is the Muktinath Temple, a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists. Muktinath Temple is located in the Muktinath Valley in the Mustang District at an altitude of 3710 meters. Worship the gods, bathe in the 108 spouts and take in the views of the Himalayas, and this place is truly a stunning piece of land. The sights seen ended at Janakpur, the birthplace of Goddess Sita.

 

This is where Ram and Sita got married in ancient times. Devghat is a small town in central Nepal. Located at the confluence of the Setigandaki and Krishnangandaki rivers, the city is one of the holiest sites in Hindu mythology and is also a sacred place for Hindu deities. This river contains a rare saligram shira (sacred stone) worshiped by Indian Hindus as Lord Vishnu. The place is 7km from Narayanhat and is famous for cremation of human bones. Many cremation processes take place on the banks of these rivers. The region has many natural features due to its geography and climate, including tropical forests, wildlife, and birdlife.

Devghat has various temples and caves of Hindu gods, goddesses and many saints. Various temples of various Hindu gods and goddesses can still be seen at this site along with caves such as Sita Cave and Vasista Cave. Devghat has several ashrams where various religious activities are held throughout the year.

Itinerary


  • On this day your flight will land at the Tribhuvan international Airport. There will be a representative who will receive you and drive to your addressed hotel. Overnight at the hotel and prepare and recharge yourself for the next day trip.

    Early in the morning you will visit the Pashupatinath temple. Pashupatinath is the temple of the three main gods of Hinduism, Shiva.It is one of the oldest temples of Nepal. The records of Pashupatinath were found even before 10th century. There is also a temple of many other gods in Pashupatinath. But, only hindus are allowed to visit the main temple.

    Afterwards, you will drive towards Budhanilkantha dedicated to Lord Vishnu, a sacred place for both hindu and buddhist. Lord Budanilkantha is said to be the incarnation of lord Vishnu, one of the main god of hindu religion.

    Then you will have your lunch near budhanilkantha temple or in other places as per your convenience . After your lunch you will drive to your next destination, Patan durbar square which is full of ancient temples, statues, shrines, and many more. Patan Durbar Square has preserved many ancient arts and architecture of ancient styles of Nepal. Patan, also known as the city of Arts.

    Then you will head towards the last destination of day 2 with Hanuman dhoka, the royal palace in kathmandu.Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square was the old home of malla dynasty. Currently, It is a UNESCO world heritage site. Panch Mukhi Hanuman Temple, Taleju Temple and many other temples are found in Hanuman Dhoka.

    Early in the morning, you will drive to pokhara. On the way to Pokhara you will also visit Manakamana temple, one of the sacred places of Hindu goddess Bhagwati. It is believed that Goddess Bhagawati is the incarnation of Goddess Parvati. It is believed that a wish made from your heart is fulfilled by the Goddess. The Manakamana Temple is 106 kilometers (66 mi) west of Kathmandu and about 94 kilometers (58 mi) from the west of Pokhara.

    After having your breakfast you will drive to Pokhara and overnight in the hotel of Pokhara.

  • You will fly to Jomsom in the morning. Then you will drive towards Muktinath temple through a cable car.Muktinath is one of the highest temples in the world. It lies  3,800 m above sea level. It is located in Mustang District of Nepal.   

    For Hindus, Muktinath Temple is a Mukti Kshetra and the temple of God Vishnu and the Vaishnava.For Buddhist, it is the home of dakinis, goddesses known as Sky Dancers. There are also shrines of Gods Srirangam, Srimushnam, Tirupati, Naimisharanya, Thotadri, Pushkar and Badrinath in Muktinath Temple.It is also one of the 108 Siddhpeeth. Muktinath welcomes more than 4,000 devotees every year.

     After visiting Muktinath you will drive back to Jomsom and overnight in a hotel.

  • On day 5 you will fly back to Pokhara where you will explore the sightseeing of Pokhara. Your sightseeing starts with boating in the majestic phewa lake. You will also visit Tal Barahi temple a hindu temple dedicated to goddess Durga. The Tal Barahi Temple lies in the middle of Phewa Lake.

    Then you will have your breakfast and you will visit Bindhyabasini temple, one of the oldest hindu temples in Nepal. The Bindhyabasini Temple is dedicated to the goddess Bindhyabasini. 

    At last you will visit the Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave where there is one of the biggest Shiva Linga. This cave is dedicated to Lord Shiva, Nepal’s most famous cave located close to the Davis falls and on the other side of world Pagoda. Overnight in a nearby hotel and prepare yourself for the next day.

  • You will drive back to Kathmandu early in the morning. After reaching the hotel at the time of evening you will also explore the local market of thamel. Overnight in your hotel and dinner.

  • Today will be the last day in Kathmandu. Early in the morning there will be a representative who will transfer you to the airport from where you will head towards your further destination.
