The Buddhist Pilgrimage tour began in Kathmandu and continued to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. The tour begins with a visit to the world’s largest Boudhanath Stupa and the famous Swayambhunath Stupa, which are located at the top of the hill. Both Stupas are important Buddhist holy sites with religious significance.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Arrival in Kathmandu, Transfer to hotel

When you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, there will be a representative with your name card who will receive you and drive you to your booked hotel. After you get into your hotel you will have time for refreshment and recharge yourself for the next day’s trip.
Day 2 :
Full day sightseeing

Today, you will drive to Patan Durbar Square located in the centre of Lalitpur, Nepal. This is the most attractive place because of its old temples, shrines, religious objects and statues. After visiting Patan durbar square you will move towards Boudhanath Stupa located 11km from the centre of Kathmandu. It is the biggest stupa in Nepal has served as a symbol of the Buddhist faith for hundreds of years, towering over the nearby town as a massive mandala of peace and beauty, and also giant eyes. Then you move towards Swayambhunath Stupa located at top a hill west of Kathmandu city. It is also known as the monkey temple which was built by Prachanda Deva, a Lichhavi king.
Day 3 :
Namobuddha tour

Early in the morning you will drive to Namobuddha, the most famous and well liked pilgrimage site of Buddhism. Overnight in the hotel of Namobuddha dhulikhel after visiting the monastery and experiencing the lifestyle of Monk closely.
Day 4 :
Drive to Lumbini

In the morning after having your breakfast you will move towards the domestic terminal of the airport. Then your flight will fly to Bhairahawa from where you drive to Lumbini. It is the most famous UNESCO world heritage sites for being the birthplace of Lord Budhha. So it is considered as one of the holiest places in the world. Whole day you will explore the different monasteries, museums, stupas, and so on and overnight and have dinner at the hotel of Lumbini.
Day 5 :
Lumbini sightseeing

Toaday, you will explore every popular site of Lumbini including World Peace Pagoda, Maya Devi Temple, Lumbini Garden, Tara Foundation, World China Temple, Thai monastery, Burmese Temple, Dharmaswami Buddhist Monastery, and Nepal Buddha Temple.
Day 6 :
Drive back to Kathmandu

Explore the remaining sightseeing of Lumbini and drive back to Bhairahawa and fly back to Kathmandu. There will be a representative who will drive to your hotel or you can use a local vehicle. After reaching your hotel you can rest or do some shopping in Thamel. Overnight at the hotel of Kathmandu and recharge yourself for the next day.
Day 7 :
Departure

On this day according to your flight time, the hotel representative will drive you to the international airport from where you will continue your onward plan.
