Kathmandu Valley is a place with beautiful museums that transits the history of Nepal, traditional festivals, and beautiful scenery along with people all over Nepal. The Kathmandu valley is the centre of Nepal and its capital.

Itcontains all types of cultures and traditions, the temples and other religious buildings like mosques, shrines, and monasteries in Kathmandu are a perfect example.

Introduction of Chitwan

Chitwan is famous for its tharu culture and its UNESCO World Heritage Site, Chitwan National Park.

In Chitwan, you can enjoy a wildlife safari tour in Chitwan. The Chitwan Jungle Safari tour is one of the most popular tours for all age groups. From locals to foreigners, a safari tour is a must for Chitwan.

You can see animals like Royal Bengal Tiger, One Horned Rhino, Elephants, Ghairial Crocodiles and many more.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Arrival in kathmandu, transfer to hotel

Today you will be arriving in Kathmandu through the airport. Our representative will be there at airport to pick you and transfer you to hotel.
Day 2 :
Kathmandu sightseeing

A sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley is on the schedule today. Kathmandu valley is famous for their beautiful architectural styles, tradition and culture.

Pashupatinath is the temple of the three main gods, Shiva. Hinduism is famous for more than 30 thousand gods and goddesses.Pashupatinath is a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the oldest religious places in Nepal.

In Kathmandu, the closest Buddhist cultural site is Boudhanath.It was built in between 500-600 BC. Boudhanath is one of the oldest buddhist shrines in Kathmandu.It is said that the place Boudhanath was buit on was one of the ancient trade route to Tibet.

Swoyambhunath is a place of significant cultural influence in Buddhism. It is also known as the monkey temple due to being home to a large number of monkey in its forests. You will also be treated to a stunning panorama of the Kathmandu Valley.

Patan Durbar Square is the location of the old Malla Kings.It is famous for its Newari architecture, including its temples, shrines, and monuments. It is the best places to understand the skills of Newar artists and craftsmen over several centuries that has also be well known in Nepali Architecture.Some of the main attraction here are the home of the living goddess Kumari Devi, the Krishna Temple, Bhimsen Temple, and the Golden Temple of Hiranya Varna.
Day 3 :
Drive to Chitwan

We will depart for Chitwan on the third day, which will take approximate time of 4-5 hours.Chitwan National Park is a famous UNESCO World heritage site situated in Chitwan. The distance between Kathmandu and the Chitwan National Park is 165 km.When you arrive at the hotel, you’ll be given a welcome drink, some refreshments, and information on the best services and amenities the establishment has to offer.

Chitwan is well known throughout the world for its tharu culture and jungle safaris. The Tharu’s are one of the distinct ethnic group in Nepal. They are renowned for performing exquisite traditional dances. We will go to the Tharu Cultural Center to learn about the history and philosophy of tharu culture in Nepal. Along with their main meals and other traditional food, we will also experience the famous tharu dance.
Day 4 :
Jungle safari

This day, you will have a full time doung jungle activities in Chitwan National Park. The majority of the morning activities are scheduled by the guide or organizer. We can go on an elephant safari, go bird watching, or have a jungle walk.

The safari includes drives into the jungle and a visit to the town of (Machan).The Royal Bengal Tiger, Elephants, One-horned Rhinos, Deer, Wild Boar, Monkey, Leopard, Sloth Bear, and other animals arefound at the Chitwan National Park. Unfortunately, only if you’re lucky, you might get to witness a Royal Bengal Tiger.

Additionally, we can go kayaking on the Rapti river.

In dinner you may enjoy a buffet of Nepali dishes or Chinese-Indian dishes.We can also do camping instead if that’s what you may prefer.
Day 5 :
Drive back to kathmandu

Early in the morning, we will drive back to Kathmandu. You can take some rest in the hotel or roam around Thamel area and have fun. Or, you can also look at our short tour in Kathmandu. Mostly though, you can relax or go to shopping, buy souvenir for your loved ones.
Day 6 :
Departure

The Kathmandu and Chitwan Tour in Nepal comes to an end today. You will depart to your home with beautiful and amazing memories. We will drop you to the Tribhuvan International Airport.
