In this special Bhutan 4 nights 5 days Tour we will be visiting tourist spots like Buddha point, Memorial chorten, Traditional School of arts & crafts, the Punakha dzong, Kichu Lhakhang, National Museum etc.
Bhutan is a small nation in South Asia. It was a small kingdom before it opened its border to the world on 1974. It is the nation famous for the conservation of nature, their culture, and people.
Bhutan is a buddhist nation. The name Bhutan is said to be derived from the Tibetan endonym “Böd” for Tibet. Bhutan’s official name is Druk yul ( “country of the Drukpa Lineage” or “the Land of the Thunder Dragon”). They earned this name through their major religion.
Although Bhutan may not have UNESCO sites, they have set many sites for selection. Some of them are: Ancient Ruin of Drukgyel Dzong, Bumdelling Wildlife Sanctuary, Jigme Dorji National Park (JDNP), Royal Manas National Park (RMNP) etc.
Bhutan has more than 120,000 tourists every year. While many tourist spots in Bhutan are only in tentative UNESCO inclusion, one of Bhutan’s culture has been listed in one of the major lists of UNESCO. Bhutan’s traditional dance, Mask dance of the drums from Drametse has listed in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List. Also, there are many other tourist sites in Bhutan not on the tentative lists of UNESCO heritage sites.

ARRIVE PARO, DRIVE TO THIMPHU (L/D)
On the first day of your four night five days tour to Bhutan, you will be arriving at the airport in Paro. The staffs of Nepal View Tours will be submitting all the necessary documents to the local authorities.
After the full submission and completion, we will be meeting your guide for the complete tour and the driver who will take you around. Then, we will be dropped off the Hotel we will be staying on. After a short break, we will have Lunch in The Hotel.
Then, the guide and the driver will take you sightseeing in Buddha point, Memorial chorten, Traditional School of arts & crafts and Tashicho Dzong.
In the evening, we will take a short stroll near the Hotel. We will have dinner in the Hotel and stay in the Hotel overnight.
THIMPHU – PUNAKHA (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we will be driving to Punakha. Then, we will be visiting Punakha dzong, second oldest and second-largest dzong in Bhutan. After that, we will be taking a short break and having lunch.
After lunch, we will be visiting Chime Lhakhang. is a Buddhist monastery in Punakha District, Bhutan. According to Locals, Chime Lhakhang is the place where Lama Kunley subdued a demon of Dochu La.
We will be returning to the hotel for dinner and staying overnight.
PUNAKHA – PARO (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we will be driving back to Thimphu. In Thimpu, we will be visiting Hontsho village where The Tibetan refugees are living. Then, we will have our lunch at Thimpu. After lunch, we will be driving directly to Paro.
In Paro, we will be having dinner and staying overnight in a Hotel.
PARO (B/L/D)
Today is your last day in Bhutan before departure. After breakfast, we will be hiking to Tiger Nest. We will return to the Hotel and have lunch after completing the hike. Then, we will be visiting Kichu Lhakhang and National Museum. Later, if we have time, we will visit the farm house.
In the evening, we may have a short stroll in the local market. We will have dinner and stay overnight on a Hotel in Paro.
PARO DEPARTURE (B)
Today, after breakfast, we will be submitting all documents and return to home from Bhutan. This is only a basic itinerary. If you are not satisfied with this itinerary, we can also customize a unique itinerary for you.
