Bardia Jungle Safari Tour is one of the most Popular jungle safari tour in Nepal. Bardia National Park was initially formed by Nepali Government this park to protect the ecosystem in Bardia. Bardia National Park is located in the parts of Western Nepal, Bardia. It was established in 1988. In the beginning, it was known as Royal Bardia National Park. It is also 450 KM far from Kathmandu. Initially, the Bardia National Park was formed to protect Royal Bengal Tiger and their prey. Later, many other species were added to this park.
It includes many famous and rare animals and Royal Bengal Tigers, One-horned Rhinos, Gangetic dolphins, Gharial crocodiles, etc. Also, the Bardia National Park is the home of 642 species of animals, 125 species of fish, and 407 species of birds.
Similarly, it has 839 species of flora, including 173 vascular plant species( 140 dicots, 26 monocots, six fern, and one gymnosperm species).
It has 407 birds including Bengal florican, white-rumped vulture, peafowl, bar-headed geese, Lesser florican and sarus crane, grey-crowned prinia, jungle prinia, pale-footed bush warbler, aberrant bush warbler, striated grassbird, golden-headed cisticola and chestnut-capped babbler. It also has a record of 120 fish.
