Drive to Kathmandu domestic terminal and fly
We will drive you to the domestic airport in Kathmandu where our helicopter is waiting for you to take you to the Everest. The Helicopter takes you deep into the High Himalayas and on to the base of the highest spot on earth. Our first landing is at the holy Buddhist monastery at Tengboche (3890m) (15 minutes for tea and photographs and close up views of Mt. Amadablam (6856m), Mt. Thamserku (6723m), Mt. Kantega (6779m), Mt. Everest (8848m) , Mt. Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Nuptse (7855m). This is followed by a flight to Mt. Everest Base Camp (5463m) for close views of Mt. Everest (8848m) Mt. Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Nuptse (7855m), Mt. Pumori (7145m) along with The Khumbu Ice fall and glacier (stop 15 mins).From here we fly on to Kala pattar (5545m) for very good close up views of Mt. Everest (8848m) , Mt. Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Nuptse (7855m), Mt. Pumori (7145m) (stop 15 mins).
On the way back the helicopter will stop at Mt. Everest View Hotel (3941m) for breakfast. Some last minute photographs of Everest and the region before returning to Kathmandu.
